Published on January 14, 2022

Since the great success of the 2021 edition, France Télévisions's Ideas Incubator is back! France Televisions is launching this fourth edition in partnership with Radio France and RTBF. This competition aims to promote initiatives, encourage creativity and innovation! Building on the lessons learned from the previous season, France Télévisions is structuring and consolidating its intrapreneurship program by challenging employees to innovate on the theme "Connected to Youth".

The program meets several internal objectives,  making the company more agile,  encouraging cross-functionality between teams, freeing the creativity of each person, and by encouraging initiative and autonomy. But it also serves the recruitment challenges, by reinforcing the attractiveness of the company.

The 2022 theme: Connecting with youth!

Over-equipped with digital devices, young people stand out from the general population by getting information differently. Indeed, the Internet and more widely the consumption of non-linear content are increasing every year among young adults.

Short articles, video formats discovered on social networks, news tocpis that speak to young people such as ecological transition, here is an overview of the content favored by the under 30s. How can France Télévisions, a public service media directly impacted by this trend, reinvent its relationship with young people? Diversification of our uses, of our formats, highlighting of new role model.? The field of possibilities is huge...

The participants will have to imagine new projects to be closer to young people...  simply stay connected with them!

Highlights of 2022 season !

The call for projects will be open from January 10 to February 4 to all the group's employees who would like to submit an idea on the dedicated platform.

From February 7, employees will be invited to vote to select the eight projects they consider the most promising.

These eight projects will then be presented to a grand jury on February 18, after which three winning projects will be chosen. They will benefit from dedicated support during an acceleration period between March and June. For this fourth season, France Télévisions has decided to strengthen support  by providing winners with a dedicated team of experts throughout the period. This team will be in charge of proposing content and tools that will allow project leaders to transform their ideas into a prototype, tested with target users and presented at the end of June during a "demo day". A three-day bootcamp will also be organized to allow the winners to immerse themselves in the culture of entrepreneurship.
