France Télévisions was for the second consecutive year a partner of SATIS, which took the form of a webTV between 23 and 27 November. You can access the videos of the conferences and interviews and films on the main themes related to television technologies.

The 5G, proposes a real technological breakthrough that interests the sectors of production and content distribution. The bandwidth is an important point but other characteristics are to be taken into account such as low latency. What are the applications and first uses?

Finally, Matthieu Parmentier, head of the DaIA (Data and Artificial Intelligence) department, speaks on a Talk Satis TV on the theme of automated subtitling (in post-production and live) as part of artificial intelligence workflows.

Final test before launching automatic subtitling of franceinfo

Closed captions are produced everyday for the French public news channel, from 6 to 9 AM and from 9 PM to midnight. In addition, on France TV website and applications, franceinfo will receive automatic subtitling thanks to an Artificial Intelligence during the rest of the day.

Aux Jeux Streamers ! the first hybrid competition organised by France Télévisions on your screens and at the Paris La Défense Arena

On Saturday 27 April, the Olympic flame will depart from Athens aboard the Belem bound for Marseille before making its way to the French capital. 90 days before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games, a competition of a very special kind will also take place, organised by France Télévisions and co-produced by the Webedia Group. For 8 hours, 8 teams made up of streamers, presenters from our channels and leading French athletes will compete in Olympic events.
