Three tutorials dedicated to public procurement to foster collaboration with start-ups

France Télévisions is committed to helping start-ups and innovative SMEs to give them the keys to understanding public markets through video tutorials.

Three video modules have been produced by the teams from the Innovation and Foresight Department, in collaboration with those from the Non-Program Purchasing Department. The themes? "Understanding public procurement", "responding to a public contract" and "writing your response to a public contract".

The objective? Simply to explain what public procurement is, what its terms, principles and operation are, but also to give the keys to reading a consultation, learn how to respond to it, identify the expected elements and give all these companies as much advice as possible to launch serenely into responding to a public contract launched by France Télévisions.

The production of these educational modules is rooted in France Télévisions desire to make public procurement more accessible, to help start-ups and SMEs respond to consultations, and to broaden its supplier base. It also responds to a request from these young companies, who often tell us about their relative lack of understanding, or even fear, of these procedures and their difficulties in responding to consultations, particularly due to a lack of human resources.

France Télévisions therefore wishes to be as useful as possible to innovative start-ups and SMEs, to accompany them in these procedures to which the group is subject, to encourage them to compete and, perhaps, to win contracts. Once again, France Télévisions is playing the game of open innovation and launching an action that allows it to take its full place in the innovation ecosystem and strengthen its role as a leading partner in innovation.

The three short modules are available on francetv lab, France Télévisions' innovation showcase site, as well as on YouTube. They are intended to be shared as widely as possible. They may be supplemented with new modules in the coming months.
