After the Olympic and Paralympic Games, France Télévisions has become the official broadcaster of another kind of sport: e-sport, with the League of Legend Banque Postale Coupe de France competition.

Launched in 2009, this MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) has redefined the industry's standards. Its community now exceeds 100 million active players every month! More than just a video game, League of Legend has created a real culture. From 7 September to 26 October, France Télévisions invites you to immerse yourself in this world, which is still unfamiliar to everyone!

The Banque Postale Coupe de France is a competition open to players of all levels, amateurs and professionals alike. After battling it out in the qualifying rounds from 7 September to 16 October, the best teams will compete in the final on the main stage at Paris Games Week on 26 October!

France Télévisions wanted to give the competition the exposure it deserves, so since the end of the playoffs, the matches have been broadcast live on Slash's Twitch as well as on the france.tv platform.

For this 3rd edition of the competition, Marie Palot, presenter and journalist, renowned for her expertise in the fields of pop culture, gaming and esports, will be on hand to commentate. To follow and decipher each match, Marie will be paired up with a member of the OTP team. What could be better? :)

Final test before launching automatic subtitling of franceinfo

Closed captions are produced everyday for the French public news channel, from 6 to 9 AM and from 9 PM to midnight. In addition, on France TV website and applications, franceinfo will receive automatic subtitling thanks to an Artificial Intelligence during the rest of the day.

We'll keep it, tweak it, or
remake it—you decide!
