The television news at 8pm: a well-organized ballet where everyone must take their place and respect the precise role assigned to them. But have you fully grasped the ins and outs? After this podcast, you will watch this moment in a very different way!

    Passionate People

Franck Parisis, Senior Graphic Designer at France 2 (2/3D, RA and Hub) proposes a reflection on the 8pm news, its organization and the impact produced by the use of augmented reality in a particular context: the reading of reality.

Thus he finds it strange that in the definitions of AR and its uses, its insertion in a TV news does not figure prominently. Yet journalists are among the best interpreters of reality, and this, on a daily basis. Yet many articles glossy on possible applications that are generally mobile, but none on television.

CNN, BBC, TF1, France 2 have virtual studios. In France alone, the TF1 and France 2's 8pm news programmes attract between eight and ten million viewers, proving, if proof were needed, their place as a media event.

Would you like to find out more about this subject? Franck Parisis proposes you these books:

Pierre Bourdieu : Sur la télévision

Pierre Legendre : Essai sur l'art dogmatique

Denis Diderot : Discours sur la poésie dramatique et le Paradoxe sur le comédien
