A remarkable participation of France Télévisions to the SATIS !

On November 9 and 10, France Télévisions took part of the SATIS at the Dock de Paris in La Plaine Saint-Denis. SATIS is the French-speaking exhibition related to creation and technological innovations in the service of media, entertainment and audiovisual communication.

    During these two days, the engineers of France Télévisions met the public at the around innovations brought by the group. 

    The following project were presented : 

    1. Apollo, a project developed in-house allowing remote editing and production using a Cloud solution.
    2. Preventive support: how supervision can become more efficient to prevent failures of the production system as much as possible.
    3. Artificial intelligence and data: how these technologies can enrich our working methods and provide new services. Two supporting demonstrations: The Program Datalake, aggregation and enrichment of program data, and Eurovox Live, one of our Speech To Text tools (automatic transcription).

    Radio France also presented an audio / video signal broadcasting solution under the SMPTE 2110 standard on the France Télévisions' stand.

    InnoDay: a day to discover all of France Télévisions' innovations

    On November 14, the InnoDay, France Télévisions' innovation fair, took place at our headquarters. The day was packed with conferences, presentations of the company's most innovative projects, and 15 stands showcasing all of France Télévisions' trades and expertise. To engage all employees, the company also organized a takeover of its Twitter account for the day, giving three interns the opportunity to share their insights on the initiatives. The InnoDay was a day when France Télévisions' innovation efforts truly took flight. As Kati Bremme, director of innovation and foresight and editor-in-chief of Méta-Media, reminded attendees, innovation is at the heart of the company's DNA.
